38th Annual Green Scene Plant and Garden Show
On Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Fullerton Arboretum's 26 acres of garden trails will be home to nearly 100 exhibitors offering a broad variety of beautiful and unique plants, garden art, and environmental products. The arboretum is on the Cal State Fullerton campus, 1900 Associated Road. Admission is $6 for adults; children under 12 are free. Clever Gardening Technique

Removing Transplants
An old fork or spoon will separate and lift seedlings gently from flats, and the handle (or a pencil or popsicle stick) can be used to ease transplants from individual growing cells in segmented flats -- all with very little damage to the tender roots.
