Silver Falls Dichondra
Silver Falls Dichondra (Dichondra argentea 'Silver Falls') is a lovely hanging plant that's covered with velvety round leaves on glistening stems that can hang up to 6 feet long. The plant can also be used as an annual ground cover, but its beauty is really spotlighted when used in a high hanging basket. It makes a great container plant because it's extremely drought tolerant -- the perfect companion to all shades of annual geraniums. Dichondra thrives in full sun and well-drained soil.
Clever Gardening Technique
Morning Glories Love Grapes
Grow morning glories with your grapes! At this time of year, grapes are pretty ragged looking, but when the grapevines are festooned with bright morning glories, we don't even see the tatty grape leaves. The morning glories bring butterflies and bees, assuring good pollination, and they will thrive in just about any type of soil.
